About
About Me
- My name is Grant Nestor. I am 23 years-old from Santa Barbara, CA.
- I am a recent graduate of USC’s Marshall School of Business, concentration in Entrepreneurial Studies.
- I am currently living in Los Angeles. I am working for Factual, a web start-up whose offering, I believe, will lead the bottom-up effort toward a semantic web.
- I want to do great things with technology…I see the extreme positives and extreme negatives of technology’s influence on today’s world. Fortunately, and unfortunately, ceteris paribus, this progress is only going to accelerate with time. Consequently, our wits must keep pace with this progress, in all areas of human endeavor (political, economic, sociocultural, ecological, etc.). I want to work my ass off, cultivate a supreme intellect and creative dexterity, and through design, contribute to projects that make life better.
- But ultimately, I am an abstraction layer composed of many less abstract systems that I don’t understand. So, all I can say with certainty, is that I am here now.
